505 Flt, 251 Sqn :: Apr 1918 - 1919
Greenland Top, near Keelby, opened in the closing phase of the Great War. It had a very short existence and was home to 505 Flt of 251 Sqn's DH6s carrying out coastal anti-submarine patrols until its disbandment on 30 Jun 1919.
Certain formations, including the RNAS units (later RAF) based at Killingholme, were given to refering to Greenland Top as Stallingborough.
