4 AAP :: 1917 - 1918
4 Aircraft Acceptance Park was based on Lincoln West Common, receiving aircraft into service from local manufacturers. Once any service modifications had been made, pilots from the RFC and RNAS would collect the new aircraft. 4 AAP later moved on to the more permanent housing at RAF Bracebridge Heath.
Another Lincoln location was on Longdales Road.
